An architect with a financial mind, Craig Yelland spent 16 years as the Director of Plus architecture where his responsibility was to maximise his clients’ development outcome. Craig’s focus on commerciality took Plus architecture from humble beginnings to 150 staff in six offices. He is now using his industry contacts and knowledge as a Development Manager to enhance developments where he can have the biggest impact – one on one with the client.

Since 2017 Yelland Co has given its clients peace of mind that they are getting the best out of their business – being development or professional services.

Craig regularly collaborates with the UDIA and Property Council to advocate positive changes in planning policy with both sides of the Government.

Craig has had the pleasure of optimising many of his client's developments.

Board Advisory

Since 2017 Craig Yelland has sat on the board of Away Digital with the goal of guiding their growth. He is very pleased to say the company has grown to ten times the staff and ten times the turnover in five years – all whilst maintaining great staff retention and high profitability.
Craig also had the pleasure of assisting Australian Superfoods with their pitch for the Mars food award – which they won – jumping them to the next level of business.
Craig is now building a podcast to share tips on the art of running a successful architectural practice.

Public Speaking

Craig Yelland regularly gives boardroom presentations and seminars to client groups, on property development fundamentals. He has spoken at UDIA and Property Council events and is a guest lecturer with Property Development Workshops and APDI where he demonstrates the value in an efficiently designed building.
A favourite activity is holding public speaking training for team members.

Expert Witness

Preparation of Expert witness reports on matters pertaining to the equitable development.
Craig will determine the optimum development and the resulting residual land value using development returns that banks require to provide funding.
